ACCORDI & DISACCORDI
Not long ago a talented guitarist called Alessandro went to the cinema to watch the movie “Midnight in Paris” by Woody Allen.

During the movie, the soundtrack kept playing on and on, it was “Bistro Fada” by Stephane Wrembel which Alessandro couldn't get out of his mind!! He went home after the movie...

Surprisingly ,on the very next day he was able to play the song note by note and decided to play it with his very skilled guitarist friend Dario;
they enjoyed it so much until they decided to play other tunes just for fun.

As a result ,again they got so into it that they wanted to busk these tunes, but what about a band name?
Their brain were mumbling: “Bistro Fada", Gipsy, Woody Allen's movie “Sweet and lowdown” (Accordi & Disaccordi italian translation...) based on a great jazz guitarist story...

"Why don't we call ACCORDI DISACCORDI like the Woody Allen's movie based on a manouche legend?”

Very inspired , they quickly recorded a demo in the studio (n.e) to spread it out everywhere and once they started busking in Turin, somebody immediately got close to them whispering “why don't you play at my holy communion daughter?"
That was perfect Godfather style...

Everything was looking promising for the duo and when Alessandro had to visit his brother in Bruxelles he loudly thought “ Dario, you should come too and we must definitely bring the guitars!!
what a wise choice...

Another success, big shows in the street with a fanbase growth!
Accidentally brought up from a Doublebass need to complete the sound, as they were thinking, through an ex Dario's student (n.e) ,some rumours about London buzzed on their ears ...but that's another story...

After Bruxelles the tireless guitarists kept strumming their guitars over Italy at the prestigious Umbria Jazz festival followed by Lucca, Pistoia events where they sold many Cd s and being kept asked to play for parties, celebrations etc...

Let's get back to our London tale...

There was an Italian bass/doublebass player called Fabio living in London, who was humbling earning his money playing and touring with several Uk bands at that time.

This guy had a brother called Mario, based in Italy, that very coincidentally was Dario's guitar student. Therefore, the bassist's brother couldn't predict what would have been the consequencies in knowing that guitar teacher...

One day, it was raining, cold, litterally one of those days when you lose the willing to live but Mario, on London vacation, rang his brother saying: “Come to Antonio's Delicatessen (a very busy shop owned by an Italian) because I want to show you two incredible guitarists from Italy, one of them was my guitar teacher, they are looking for a doublebass player, you should check them out, they are fantastic!

Then curious, Fabio walked to the shop and saw these two guitarists under this rain-soaked Gazebo outside the shop, that started strumming, playing with energy and passion a theme taken from a famous movie.

He was so impressed and thought “these guys are good, young, with bag of talent, they bring on their music nicely and clear, I should see what comes out of it...”.

After that, they immediately jelled on musically and personally, then they start busking around UK and Italy, played many gigs and in January 2013 they produced a new record called "Bouncing Vibes".

...but is this just the beginning of ACCORDI DISACCORDI 's big journey ?! Who knows...
